1. Will my seat covers fit well?
Custom seat covers are created for each make and model using the exact measurements of the seats and hence they are sure to fit perfectly. Seat covers from Coverking are made-to-measure and are crafted with high quality materials and are designed only after the specifications are fed to the computer. The covers are created with cutouts for your side impact airbags too if your vehicle has them.

2. What is the difference between a custom seat cover and a semi-custom seat cover?
To explain this difference, think of a custom seat cover as a tailor-made suit, and a semi-custom seat cover as an off the rack suit. Tailor made suits are tailored with precise measurements taking a clients entire body frame including every contour, curve and length into consideration. Likewise, our custom seat covers will fit over your car seats precisely, leaving access to every feature, seatbelts and other seat-mounted controls.

On the other hand, an off the rack suit will also fit your frame, but will never give you the best fit like a tailored suit. These rack suits are crafted from patterns which are derived come from average measurements of similarly sized bodies. Likewise semi-custom seat covers are cut to fit your seats as well as any other car, truck, SUV and van seats. A rule of thumb is that a semi-custom seat cover will fit about 80% as well as a full custom seat cover.

3. What if I have side impact air bags on my seats?
Automobile makers are constantly adding various innovative safety measures to make our vehicles safer to drive. The SIPS is one such innovation. Vehicles have these airbags mounted on the side of your car seat. These installations protect your head from hitting your side windows or door jam in an accident.

Custom seat covers should be used if you do have side impact airbags on your car seats. This is because these covers are manufactured with cutouts to accommodate the side impact airbags and they cover your seats without getting into the way of the airbags. Universal seat covers and semi-custom seat covers will block this valuable safety feature, and they are thus risky.

4. Are seat covers difficult to install?
The seat covers can be installed with ease as they are silde-ons. The covers are held down with Velcro, hooks or straps that are attached under the seat far out of sight and you would not require any tools to install them. Front seat covers are generally easier to install than rear seat covers, as front seats are more easily accessible and the entire installation process of front seat covers requires 20-30 minutes. Rear seat cover installation in a car may require removal of the seats to install the seat covers. Detailed instructions are included with the seat covers. Rear seat covers on an SUV can be installed in the similar way as front seat covers.

5. How do I clean my seat covers?
Car seat covers are made from a wide amalgamation of fibers and so there are many different ways to clean them. You can clean them at home using a simple washing machine. But it’s a good idea to use a vacuum cleaner from time to time.

6. Which seat covers give me the most protection against water and moisture?
